STEAM Programs

At Growth Notes, we believe innovation and creativity go hand in hand. Our STEAM Program gives children who lack access to enrichment programs the chance to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through hands-on, interactive learning.

From building simple machines to experimenting with art and design, students develop problem-solving, curiosity, and confidence. By blending creativity with discovery, we aim to spark a lifelong love of learning and show every child their power to imagine, create, and innovate.

VP of STEAM Programs

Laura C.

Meet Laura C, a sophomore at Oak Ridge and two-time STEM Fair winner. This summer, Laura led Growth Notes’ first international project in Moldova. When she’s not deep-diving into research, you’ll probably find her with her nose in a book (she reads at least 60 a year), playing the guitar, running her club meetings, or debating her way all the way to state levels.

Product Manager

Adam

My name is Adam and I am a junior at the College Preparatory School in Oakland who is very passionate about architecture and urban design. Just this past summer, I attended the Embarc architecture program at UC Berkeley which deepened my interest in the subject and inspired me to lead an architecture camp for little kids. Outside of architecture, I dedicate much of my life to rowing and I enjoy playing guitar in what little spare time I have.

Qadir

A junior at the College Preparatory School in Oakland, Qadir passionately enjoys studying biology and chemistry. But outside of class, he is on varsity for soccer and volleyball where both teams have made NCS in D1 and D2 respectively. Over the summer, Qadir partook in the on campus Columbia SHAPE program where he learned how to code a minesweeper game in python. When he’s at home, Qadir loves to bake and hangout with his siblings.
